Since Summer 2017 Eric plays a vital role within the ambitious growth plans of Louvre Hotels Group / Jin Jiang International in Germany, Austria & Switzerland and since August 2019 also in Bulgaria;
Prior to his current position he was COO & Managing Director of Premier Inn Germany & WHITBREAD Germany Holdings and CEO of Guennewig Hotels & Restaurants Germany thereafter;
In addition he followed engagements in the field of Hotel Development & Acquisitions for Louvre Hotels Group (already 2010-2013) as well as Golden Tulip Hospitality Group Central & Eastern Europe (2002-2005) and gained valuable experience as Hotel Investor for privately owned UVG International Mergers & Acquisitions in between;
After he had started his professional hotel career with Kempinski Hotels in 1986 with operational positions in Munich, Washington D.C., Frankfurt, Hong Kong & Berlin he joined Hyatt Hotels in London in between before he signed a franchise agreement with InterCityHotels / Steigenberger Hotel Group to operate a hotel as entrepreneur on own account for 7 years.
